By combining geo, bio and techno, Maxime Blondeau has resurrected an ancient discipline once known as cosmography, the representation of the visible universe. By combining the beauty of an image with the pedagogy of a lucid and confident message, this exhibition was born in 2024, Geoconscience.
It will be exhibited in many places in France and abroad.
For a new awareness of the world.
Behind each satellite panel, the subjects are varied:
Climate, Water, Biodiversity, Tourism, Industry, Agriculture…
Faced with the intensity of the ecological crisis, this work invites us to take a fresh look at the imperatives of mitigation, adaptation and protection. We, humanity, could learn to look at the geosphere, the biosphere and the technosphere differently, integrating flow, duration, milieus and interaction into our representations, to finally heal the sky and the earth, and emerge from prehistory.
